Mike is the Director of the Centre for Biblical Preaching in Melbourne, which trains people across Australia and the world in Biblical preaching. He has taught in theological colleges in Australia and Pakistan.
He’s married to Sarah and they have 4 adult children. He is the author of the 2004 Australian Christian Book of the Year, Stirrings of the Soul and, more recently, Songs of the Saints.
To keep fit Mike likes to walk with his wife to coffee shops, and wrap his mind around cryptic crosswords, sudokus, and Scandinavian crime novels.
At this years farmers camp, Mike will explore the power of the Psalms and their relevance to our lives.
John Gladigau is many things: Husband to Bronny, father to two kids, owner of a 2000 ha propety at Alawoona, partner in a 11,000 ha collaborative farm “Bulla Burra” and a Nuffield Scholar who travelled the world in 2007 looking at alternate business models resulting in the creation of Bulla Burra in 2009.
In his spare time he also likes to help people unearth their own passions. John’s also writes plays! John’s Town Christmas and Easter productions have collectively been seen by nearly 40,000 people. John’s personal faith challenges him to be obedient to God’s call – in all aspects of his farming and personal life. Even when he doesn’t want to!
Cam was born and raised in Melbourne, where he met his wife Amanda. Now, many years later, they now live at Boort and grow crops and hay as well as owning a hay contracting business. The story of how they went from inner city living, and climbing the corporate ladder to starting their own farming business is one of challenges, uncertainty, and most of all, faith.
Matt grew up on a farm at Woodford, near Warrnambool the second youngest of four. He married his best friend, Shannon, and they now have two beautiful girls, Lil and Mim. Matt works as a secondary school teacher and enjoys his time working on the farm one day a week. He is also passionate about men, their role as fathers and their call to be real, present and intentional.
