ORIGINS OF STEER
Steer was established in 1962 to help multiple giving to mission and outreach work overseas and in Australia. In 62 years, we have given over 93 million dollars.
The nature of our work gives you the means to expand and enhance your giving to mission and outreach tax efficiently so that opportunities for extending God’s Kingdom on earth are not lost.
Right from the outset our goal was to facilitate the spread of Christianity and today this goal remains.
We do this by encouraging you to:
- Look after the resources God has given you and to share them wisely
- Choose your Christian mission and ministry well, get to know them, pray for them and be actively involved in supporting their work.
Several Steer programs are available to assist you in helping to provide the extra funds mission agencies need to take the Good news of Jesus Christ to the nations.
